The Lindsay Ann Burke Act is now Rhode Island law. Thank you to all our friends who helped
to get this law passed. Thank you to Rhode Island Attorney General Patrick Lynch for
proposing this law on behalf of the Burke family and for all of your support since Lindsay's murder. Thank you
to RI Senator Beatrice Lanzi and RI Representative Eileen Naughton for sponsoring
this bill in the RI Legislature. And thank you to the Rhode Island legislators who listened,
recognized, and understood this very serious problem and voted for the Lindsay Ann Burke Act. This law will
educate a whole new generation of teens about dating violence and will save many from its devastating effects. Together we made a difference, and now Lindsay's Law will make a difference. Thank you. the Burke
family
